During the 2006-07 school year, CaseNEX built on the research initiative from the first year of the NYCBOE's Collaborative Communities of Practice project to develop of a series of ten multimedia cases that highlight "Beat the Odds" schools. These cases:

1. capture and codify successful programs at each school;
2. operationalize and document processes related to school success;
3. disseminate successful models of instruction and collaboration to schools across New York City; and
4. sustain and scale the CCP initiatives after private funding has ended.
