Welcome to the New York City version of the Teaching Performance Record. The TPR is a low-inference classroom observation instrument you can use to inform your data-driven inquiry processes and gather, analyze, and report data on your Quality Review. The full TPR system will help you guide and evaluate job-embedded professional development that makes a positive difference in students' lives.
This site was created especially for the educators in New York City public schools. You will find training videos made in local classrooms with a broad representation of teachers, students, subject-matter areas, and grades levels. You should also take advantage of the behavior clips that demonstrate the TPR behaviors in action in NYC classrooms.
