Educational Relationship Manager
Location: Various. Openings in greater-D.C, FL, CA, TX.
Position description: CaseNEX is seeking an experienced educational sales professional (Relationship Manager) to join our team of outstanding educators and business professionals. A CaseNEX Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with major school districts and driving new and repeat sales within their territory. We engage our clients and prospects in a consultative sales process that requires strong knowledge of contemporary issues in K-12 education, and the development of a strong personal rapport with school district administrators and leaders. In addition to championing client relationships, with the assistance of our support staff, our Relationship Managers advise clients in the effective implementation of CaseNEX products, ensure successful adoption of our offerings, increase usage in the community, and maximize the educational returns on the client's investment. Educational Relationship Managers may work from 'home' in close conjunction with CaseNEX's senior executives and support staff.
Our Relationship Managers are professional educators with strong sales and project management skills. They handle meaningful business assignments, relationships and responsibilities with a high degree of independence and flexibility. Clients: Our products and services are primarily sold into school districts as large 'site-license' type contracts. In addition, individual teachers from around the country access our website directly to join open-enrollment courses.
Responsibilities:
- Identify high-potential school districts and key decision makers within districts (staff developers, principals, superintendents, areas of critical need coordinators).
- Manage forecast, leads and new opportunities in territory to keep company executives informed of sales pipeline.
- Develop, manage and conduct sales presentations and product training.
- Suggest and design appropriate product mix and program characteristics.
- Work closely with CaseNEX's content developers to continuously improve content library.
- Assist and manage the follow up to each sales meeting, through proven sales techniques.
- Coordinate with grant and research director to assist customers with related federal programs and assist customers in decision-making and purchasing processes when appropriate.
- Develop and present sales proposals: proposal development includes the formulation of program ideas, concepts and strategies.
- Perform other related sales and marketing duties to help support the overall company goals and objectives.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications; however we will consider other professionals with highly relevant skills:
- 3+ years of solution sales experience in K-12 education, with proven track record of sales success/over-quota performance. District level sales experience a plus (superintendents, district-wide staff developers, principals, etc.)
- Former K-12 teacher, administrator, staff/curriculum development personnel, or higher-education professional.
- Experience with large value sales transactions ($40k+)
- Understand a complex product/service solution, and have experience in consultative sales approach.
- Have current contacts within territory.
- Evidence exemplary integrity and business ethics.
- Minimum BA/BS, strongly prefer Masters or PhD/EdD
- Self-starter with passion for building a business and creating their own value.
- Significant 'local' travel is required, as well as periodic national travel.
